Heavy-Cut Automotive Polishing Compound

Description

Vintex Massa de Polir is a heavy-cut polishing compound developed to remove sanding marks as coarse as P1200, micro-scratches, oxidation, and other noticeable defects from automotive paint.

Its low-dust formula provides strong cutting performance without clogging the polishing pad, while producing a refined finish on the corrected surface. It is suitable for different automotive paint systems and may be used with either wool or foam cutting pads.

Machine application

1. Clean and thoroughly decontaminate the painted surface.
2. Apply enough product to work an area approximately 50 × 50 cm.
3. Use a rotary polisher with an appropriate wool or foam cutting pad.
4. Operate the polisher between 1,200 and 2,000 RPM.
5. Polish using moderate pressure until the desired correction and gloss are achieved.
6. Remove remaining residue with a clean microfiber towel.
7. Inspect the surface and repeat if necessary. 

Pad selection

• Wool cutting pad: Greater defect removal and faster cutting
• Foam cutting pad: More controlled correction and a more refined finish

Always perform a small test section to determine the correct pad, speed, pressure, and polishing time for the paint.

Important precautions

• Inspect paint thickness and condition before polishing.
• Avoid polishing hot surfaces or working in direct sunlight.
• Keep the polisher moving to avoid excessive heat buildup.
• Protect plastic trim, rubber, and textured surfaces from residue.
• Wear appropriate eye and skin protection.
• Follow the product label and safety data sheet.
